Carlota
Carlota Felicia Thiel is kENUP Africa‘s Student Intern in Nairobi, where she studies at the United States International University Africa. Prior, she volunteered with the Soweto Youth Initiative and the Safisha Africa Welfare Foundation in Kenya. In her free time, Carlota learns Arabic.
Dennis
Dennis Gerdts is kENUP Africa's Managing Director and Executive Secretary. Before joining kENUP, Dennis served as a Senior Technology Expert at Ernst & Young and as Founder and Chief Technology Officer of his own company.
Holm
Holm Keller is Executive Chairman and Council Member of kENUP Africa. A musical composer by training, he has previoulsy been the Kanzler of Leuphana University, working in the top-management of Bertelsmann Inc., and an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company.
Felix
Dr. Felix C. Seyfarth is kENUP Africa's Digital Higher Education Expert, and has been seconded as such to the Rwanda Ministry of Education in Kigali. Felix holds a Ph.D. in Public Management from University of St.Gallen, as well as a Master from Freie Universität in Berlin.
Jeffrey
Dr. Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando is the Guardian of kENUP Africa. Prior to joining kENUP, he served as a Member of the Maltese Parliament from 1996 to 2013 and in numerous executive roles in the Maltese Public Sector. By training, Jeffrey is a Dental Surgeon.
Julia
Julia Kaerger is a Senior Project Manager at kENUP Africa. She brings a robust background in economics, complemented by hands-on experience gained from her last position in business development and agile product and project management.
Luis
Luis Gatti is a volunteer Project Manager at kENUP Africa. Previously, Luis worked for the United Nations and in the senior leadership team of a Start-up in Berlin. For that, he lived in the United States, Spain, Ecuador, Palestine, and Rwanda, and is currently based in Berlin and Kigali.
Lydie
Lydie Murorunkwere is a Member of the Council of kENUP Africa. She is Founder and Managing Director of ML Corporate Services Ltd. A member of Rotary International, she volonteers Rwanda Cancer Relief and at the Baobab Platform Mentorship Program.
Marion
Marion Riewer is the Senior Administrator of kENUP Africa. Prior to joining kENUP Foundation, Marion worked for more than 25 years in the Luxembourg Financial Center at banks including Landesbank Schleswig-Holstein, West LB, and HSH Nordbank.
Natacha
Natacha Butera is a Member of the Council of kENUP Africa foundation. She currently serves as a Senior Analyst in the Strategy and Policy Council at the Office of the President of the Republic of Rwanda. Natacha's academic background is in biology and global health.
Richard
Richard Krampitz is a Senior Project Manager of kENUP Africa. Proficient in history, economics, and political science, fluent in both French and English, he contributes expertise to bolster our initiatives in the Sahel region and beyond.
Thorsten
Thorsten Kurtz is kENUP Africa's Council Member and CFO. Before joining kENUP, he worked for GIZ´ predecessor InWEnt and held management positions at Leuphana University´s TechTransfer company and with the European Centre for Advanced Studies in Glasgow / Lüneburg.
Uta
Uta Michel serves as a Senior Executive Assistant to the Chairman and Office Manager of the Foundation. Helping the team with planning and allocation of resources, with a focus on Project and Event Management support.
